First day of the tour: From Athens to Delphi

The trip starts from your hotel in Athens, driving by the scenic road towards Theva, Levadia and Arachova. You will make a short stop at Arachova, a small town famous for its local products and colorful hand made carpets.

Later, you will be arriving at Delphi  where you will visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi, with the amazing remains of the glorious Oracle of God Apollo. The rest of the day is free for you to wonder around the lovely village of Delphi.

Second day of the tour: Delphi – Kalampaka – Meteora

The morning of the second day is also free and you can take a more in depth tour in the archaeological site of Delphi, shop for souvenirs and local products or simply bask under the sun, enjoying the beautiful town of Delphi.

Later you will drive towards Kalampaka and Meteora, passing by a number of small towns in Central Greece such as Lamia, Larissa and Trikala. You will cross the fertile Thessalian Plain and you will arrive in Kalampaka later in the evening where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Third day of the tour: Meteora – Athens

Early in the morning you will visit the monasteries of Meteora and the suspended rocks, that make a truly breathtaking surrounding. After lunch you will be driving back to Athens, passing by the historical site of Thermopylae and Kamena Vourla.
